Active Aging Walk Seminar
Presented by: Julie Milner, Vice President, Education, International Council on Active Aging
This Walking 101 program takes place outside and is a progressive, multilevel program designed to help you get the most out of your walking programs. Walking 101 will suit the needs of any fitness level. This session shows you how to increase the intensity of a walking workout by engaging more of the body’s muscle groups, resulting in increased cardiovascular benefits.
You’ll learn how to: Start a walking program, adapt walking programs for all fitness levels, and build the intensity of walking workouts.

Often referred to as the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman is a National Historic Landmark and the former home of the Grand Ole Opry
Enjoy a tour of this historic site, go backstage, see the dressing rooms and even have your picture taken on the stage that has been graced by legends such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Diamond and more.
This will be a memorable evening, one that you will remember for a long time. Who knows, you might even get to meet some Country Music legends, all while benefiting the n4a Older Americans Disaster Relief Fund.

All proceeds will benefit n4a’s Older Americans Disaster Relief Fund which provides direct funding for aging services in disaster zones, to coordinate services, and to pay for costs associated with dispatching professionals to aid in the effort.
